Trust
With love and time, we connect our hearts. It’s our time on earth. It’s more than that. It is connected to the depth of our existence. Trust and love.
Find me love
Our time is in our heart. At least it quite often seems to. Our time also shakes our heart. At least it often seems to. Sometimes we struggle and sometimes we don’t. At least it seems to. Sometimes we lose what we call trust in time. It seems to. We would not find us getting lost in time - fighting to fight, showing to show, stopping to stop. Seems to. To easy to get lost. Find me heart.
From the first moment on earth, our heart and our time travels with us. It loves us and we stay connected to it. To easy to remember. A beat to beat; a beat in a beat. Love to be loved. Connected.
Time is beat, rhythm, a machine. An energy we give space in us. We follow our beat, it’s in us, and we struggle; and we stumble upon it. Stubbornly we walk — to fast or to slow. Sometimes we jump out of a fast train, by misjudging our heartbeat — our connection to life and time.
Our song is in us.
What rhythm and song are you listening to?
My friend on your beautiful planet, share with me your song.
Find me time
I travel with you. And you travel with me. Unknown moments connecting us. We are too slow to see and too fast to hear. Often, it seems, you travel with me unheard. Yet: You, the life, love me and I love you.
Time, I miss you. My mother gave me to you. She gave me time. I miss the rhythm that once connected us. I lost it in the moments after. Eager to be.
Now, I am back to share with you.
What are the moments we keep forgetting?
My friend connect and share your heartbeat with the world. We wait for your rhythm. Share.
Peace Letter February 2021
As we move and try to find answers to severe problems. Our hearts and minds get tight and narrow. While Mother Earth keeps getting warmer and warmer. We can hide in front of green screens to pretend that we are fine, at the end, it will be our generation that is responsible for our BIG transformation. Keep dreaming about it and trust in who you are. Peace, Salam, Shalom.
On Peace 2021 (01)
When is world peace? In 11 month and 8 years. What means trust? What do we build, what is growing and nurturing when we trust each other? What place is it — is waiting for us to be seen?
I don’t know the answer; I am curious. Are you curious, too?
How do we love, when we trust — combining our connecting energies. Are we looking at each other with love, compassion and regard? Are we ready to follow trust and feel it in us? Without pain and fear. What does our heart tell us?
November was warm, again
Dear friends,
November 2020 was very warm. There has only been one warmer November in the past 141 years — a few years ago. December — also warm: “was the sixth warmest on record, with the six warmest Decembers occurring in the last six years.” Are we getting numb to these kind of news? Do we silence us? Together. Are we teaming up being silent? There are serious issues waiting for our beautiful minds and kind souls to find solutions. Solutions, we only can find together. Must solve together. A world without wars — peace in our heart, in our words and in our actions — is only one of many tasks. Nuclear disarmament only one step in a specific task. A milestone in history. Not more. In the aisles of nuclear disarmament, climate change is a green screen — a background.
We are getting above average, globally and in Europe
What should we do?
We find love and trust in us. In our heart. It’s me. I am trust. It’s a very vulnerable place in us, too: our mind, our heart. By intertwining our heart and our mind, we can do things, we can only solve with trust, such as no nukes in Europe. Only one step in our tasks of nuclear disarmament. Not more. Currently there are 4 countries (France, UK, Russia, U.S.) who have nuclear weapons in Europe plus 5 countries (Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Turkey) who are part of NATO’s nuclear sharing. Only 4+5 = 9 countries, who need to say no nuclear weapons in Europe. People of nine countries who need to grow in trust. Together. Only together. We can decide, that from today on nuclear explosions are only special effects for green screens.
How can we share trust?
We need to take the idea of power out when we think and share our thoughts. It has been a warm November. Our heart and our mind don’t want enemies. We can solve problems together. Us. As a team of, as citizens. We can write our members of parliament around the world to ask to de-alert our national nuclear weapons or in the case of Germany to stop nuclear sharing. We should be aware, that in the case of a nuclear war, we as humans will all suffer together — by defending our national states, we destroy humanity. We need to over come and gonna lay down our atom bombs… down by the river side. The current doctrine is destroying our heart. By accepting nuclear deterrence we close our heart and we shut down our compassion. We die from inside slowly, while we threat to destroy our sisters and brothers around the world. My heart is crying, as much as you explain me the rational behind it. Where is love? We can vote and we can write to our parliaments. We can open spaces for discussion to adress new pathways of security. I just heart that we feel secure if we feel love. I like it. Jusus would love it, too, my Christian friends who are so in favor of nuclear weapons. Where is your unconditional trust and love, like Jesus has?
We need to bridge the gap of enmity and start to meet and to move together. We will not be able to dominate and we will not be able to separate since we are one human nation — one family, one humanity. It’s quite an empirical fact. We can give us love and trust. The currency, the security of our time. We will need us all to manage our global transformation. We should get engaged with our mind and our heart. Loving and trusting — as humans. Isn’t it beautiful? We let our beauty shine and we are not focusing our mind on destruction but on life and sharing. Overcome and transform yourself. We focus with our hearts. We work with love — we listen to our hearts, even if its painful sometimes. Trusting is painful. We express our love in our words and in our mind. All what we need is in our heart. Even our courage.
Having courage
Imagine trust as a unifying power — from within us, growing together: you, me, our neighbors, all of us. A connection powerful enough to take our nuclear weapons into the dismantling chambers of our time. On technical step. Not more. We give us a feeling of security that reaches beyond might and destruction. We become strong together, from inside. Without nuclear weapons. We can give it to us — a compassionate heart and a receptive voice. We listen to each other.
“Lift up your heads, O gates! Be lifted up” (Psalm 24:8) Let’s do it. We open our hearts — our mighty gates. “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle?” Mighty and strong are people who do not want to fight nor start a battle. People who do not escalate but mediate conflicts and turn them down peacefully. Our hearts healing conflicts — mighty in battle. A house without nuclear warheads. Turned down peacefully. The path to our heart doesn’t need a battle, it needs courage. Courage to stop the fight. Who am I if I am not fighting? “Who is the King of glory?” We find a beautiful voice in our hearts. We should open gates to walk out of our fortress, designed to host battles and competitions. Our heart, our mind. We need places to share and encourage. We pass gates, meeting peacefully — together. As a global family. Nuclearfree. We trust each other, honestly — no green-screen needed.
Do you see your beauty?
We need to be courageous to love, love is such a vulnerable place in us. We need to be courageous to trust, embracing the unknown. We can share our courage. We can feel our love, when we meet. You and I. Together we can be courageous to create space for people to meet, to integrate. Again and again. We should speak positively and compassionately about other people to nurture our heart energy together. We can give and share love and trust till one day we come together and decide, that we don’t need nuclear weapons anymore in Europe — or in America or in Asia. In full awareness of our vulnerability and fear, we can grow in our courage towards peace. Together as human beings, we can hold the pain and tears of the past, the present and the future. And we can meet together and decide together as human beings. Vulnerable and trusting. It has been a warm November. We can meet in love, trust and understanding. We can practice it every day in our routines, with our neighbors, friends and family. With our practice — a shift in our mind — we let the light of peace and love in our heat shine with more ease. Without anger or ego. A healing energy in us — an open and calm heart and mind, full of life. Without seeking constantly the opposite other, a pattern, that keeps our heart and mind closed, hurt, and violent. A soft and calm mind — free. We can give us love and we can observe how our trust is growing, together. Again and Again.
Word to hear
How to summarize my thoughts? It's just a drop in the water of time. There is more to learn:
Courage: our open heart, a nonviolent mind, welcoming people, creating space for dialogue
Trust: nurturing the feeling of connection in us.
Love: a superpower that guides us to trust and keeps us there.
Together: No matter what — we can only do it together. Peace only works if all come together.
Giving: The power of growing and nurturing together — from our heart.
Healing: a peaceful mind and a nonviolent spirit in our heart. Nurturing our healing and not our pain in us.
Best wishes from Berlin, peace in our hearts, peace in our world, Salam, Shalom

(?) Können wir so richtig ins Vertrauen gehen? Ohne Schmerz. Was sagt unser Herz?
Was anpacken?
Wir finden Liebe und Vertrauen in uns. In unserem Herzen. In unserem Geist, in unserem Herzen.
Wo siehst Du täglich Vertrauen in Dir?
All unseren Geist und unser Herz. All unsere Liebe und Vertrauen.
(Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.)

The street in Berlin speaks out. There is a treaty that declares nuclear weapons as illegal. We should join.
Peace Letter November 2020
When we count our steps, we start with one, than two, and eventually get into a rhythm. In that same rhythm we walk through life. Counting our steps. Listening to our heartbeat. Listening to the rhythm of our life. Do we listen to all — are we aware that we are the reason for the loss of biodiversity and hottest Octobers on Earth? Is peace part of our next steps? Or do we still listen to the rhythm of might and power? I stopped.
How do we learn to be vulnerable, to see our beauty?
50 states (green) have declared: we don’t want nuclear weapons and we don’t want to threaten anybody with using nuclear weapons. Courageous. These states decided to be vulnerable. For the sake of humanity. Wouldn’t it be great if all 193 states on earth would say that? Wouldn’t it be great if we all say to our neighbors “I don’t want to threaten you with my weapons anymore.” We should work towards that goal. Together. With. Opening our minds and sharing our knowledge.
Step by step and together. With each other and not against each other. With Mother Nature and not against Her. Becoming more vulnerable with each step . We start to see each other and learn to trust each other. Step by step. With.
Good health to you and your family. Peace, Salam, Shalom.
On Peace 2020 (02)
When is world peace? In 2 months and 9 years. Our wishes follow their own rhythms. Usually we learn walking in the first years of our life. How long does it take to learn a language? How much of what we learn has a rhythm? Unique. Why do I want to talk, why do I run to walk? Are we imitating what is around us or are we able to feel our wish to talk, our wish to walk?
What rhythm do I follow when we think of becoming vulnerable — who can teach us? Maybe a rhythm very deep in us.
Who is my new teacher after the highest mountain learned me to climb and the deepest ocean to swim; and the biggest nuclear bomb to destroy? Who is next? Time to be vulnerable.
What is the new rhythm even if the biggest nuclear bomb can not teach me anything new anymore? What is the rhythm of peace?
Do we want to learn? Do we need to learn — together? Without climbing, without swimming, without destroying.
What is your wish? How is your wish a wish of all of us? Can you hear its unique sound — so familiar to all of us. Our wishes come with a rhythm and we are part of it. Maybe we are all part of your wish, too?
Wishing to be vulnerable
Dear friends,
Brené Brown says in her TED-Talk: “What makes me vulnerable makes me beautiful.” She continuous: “In order to allow for connection to happen, we need to allow us to be really seen.” In all our beauty. Being vulnerable. Fear of disconnection, fear of not being good enough is in our way. We struggle together in being worth enough for each other. We struggle in our wish for love and belonging. Our wish. A rhythm. A race we cannot win, a mountain we cannot climb, a ocean we cannot cross, a bomb we cannot detonate. What rhythm is it? Something we can only hear together. Our heart beat of connection.
What makes you feel vulnerable?
In his documentary A Life on Our Planet, David Attenborough speaks of a “vulnerable world”, a world where we cannot go against Mother Nature but only with it. I read about the loss of biodiversity, for example as one of the planetary boundaries (can you find it at 11 hours?), but basically ignored it — this film has changed that. It also shows that we can only do things WITH each other, not against each other. With:
We’ve got what we need for change.
With each other we can learn from each other.
We improve what we need to change.
With is simple. With is change.
We need to change. There is no planet B (something I took from last month’s homeschooling lesson).
It is still puzzling my head with the information I got in my homeschooling lesson on nuclear weapons systems. I was so confused to listen to security experts talking about the future of weapons systems, sharing their knowledge on technological innovations, and then putting it in the frame of national security, technological advantage and, of course, nuclear deterrence.
What technologies do we need to deter effectively?
What knowledge do we need for that and how do we make sure, that only we have the knowledge and the new weapons significantly sooner than our “adversaries”.
With. With not against. With is simple. With is new.
The perception and security structure we need to gain back biodiversity, our battle, has not yet come to our mind and heart. A forceful rhythm, a rhythm able to detonate nuclear bombs, still tells us what to do. Hence, we still prepare our next war. We still study war. A rhythm that forces our mind to think in categories of separation and hate. I left that classroom. Too complex for me. With is simple. Study war no more. In a separate room, I found a book and it said: With. Will we be able to dance in the rhythm of connection, again?
Learning being vulnerable
Instead of learning how to trust each other, we still try learning to be stronger, greater and less vulnerable. We fail to negotiate meaningful arms treaties, while the arctic waters don’t cool down. We clink to fights while the easiest way is to say “I am sorry”. Who is saying it first? Moving on together. Our mind sets us again and again on a race track; our heart beats us every moment through an arms race. Hurry up. Sign with hypersonic speed, before we all can swim to the North Pole.
October 2020 “The six warmest Octobers occurred in the last six years… Much above the average in most of the Arctic” Learning matters. Sharing matters.
We are competing against time — how do we want to win a race against time? Being vulnerable also means being faster and light. With nuclear weapons we carry a lot of weight. How can we move freely if we have to maneuver 13’000 nuclear warheads every moment around the world? A rational mind says: we need to disarm, we need to reduce risks. Nuclear deterrence does not allow to reduce any risks in the future, because we will not be vulnerable enough and not able to build trust. All we see is a dangerous world, and not a world that is a partner.
What we can do today is to listen to time and to invite time to sit with us. It’s an invitation. We can share time together. Here and now. Anywhere. Anytime. And we have words to share, while we share time. And we will be vulnerable, while we listen. With. With time and with our neighbors — the one next door, the one across the ocean, brother snake and sister tree. If we think of a shared world, we definitely need to think of a planetary unity, including all beings on Mother Earth.
What are trustful signs of vulnerability?
Listening to all allows us to learn from each other. We need each other to learn from each other. What we know is simply not enough to solve our problems. We need to overcome my own ignorance, by listening and learning. Organizing transformation also means to be open for what is new and unknown. We need to trust to reveal what we haven’t learnt yet. And we are 7.6 billion people, we can learn from. What are we afraid of? Instead of learning how to cooperate, we raise military budgets. How is this a sign of trust? What are we afraid of — we need to learn anyways, why not now. What are we and our leaders afraid of? Why do we still need nuclear deterrence? We cannot beat time! With. What are the places that can teach us? Our colorful war textbooks, demonizing the enemy? No. Next chapter — study world peace. Opening the chapter that can teach me, time joins to teach me. With. Us. Together. Vulnerable. Beautiful. Our task is not to become stronger — we cannot win against time (we need to get war out of our present mind and future’s minds — why does anybody needs 500 new ships till 2045 — guys we will work hard on peace, we will do our job till 2030) — but to become weak and soft. To share our weakness, uncertainty, vulnerability, to be wrong, to be human. To be able to learn from each other. To share. It’s human not to win and not to know. Normal. With.
“- Hey Joe, my hypersonic missile passes Mach 5 now.
- Wow Vladimir, mine just made Mach 5, too. What a fun game to play… How should we continue?”
How do we invite time in our house? We open the door, light a candle. We walk together and we share — we share to learn, to be wise (not wiser, it’s not a race). An open door — to our mind, to our heart. We just don’t want to keep our knowledge secret anymore. In our concept of trust and unity, keeping secrets that harm someone hurts. It hurts our soul. I hope we kinda get it soon and start to share our secrets, collectively — “Hey Joe, my hypersonic missile passed Mach 5. Wow Vladimir, mine just made Mach 5, too.” Great exchange of knowledge, great learning. For what? I hope that our stories will be more exciting. In order to learn, in order to grow and to care, we want to be vulnerable. And we need to, are asked to. With.
Beauty is being vulnerable
What kind of power is our mind, if we constantly think in secrets, weapons systems and by trying to become stronger? How free and liberated are we? What rhythm are we listening to? How feels our heartbeat if we focus on seeking advantage of any situation? Do we listen? Do we care if our action harms us, someone else and the environment? I am tired of that rhythm that solves problems through might and power. It hurts. Power hinders us to share knowledge because we seek advantage first.
Still relevant questions of our time. Have we worked together on answers?
Why not sharing knowledge? We don’t seek connection with people. We rather keep our nuclear warheads hidden; we do not move the stone in front of our nuclear tombs. We don’t want to crucify them for peace. Redemption — not in our lifetime — we hold on to our nukes. OMG, what would Jesus say? While we pray at our holy sites for redemption, we are holding on to our nuclear arsenals only a few Parsa'ot (distance a person can walk in one hour) away. Holding on to power. What invisible walls are between now and peace?
Redemption is easy. Verify. Verification is easy. Share knowledge. Yet, we don’t want to be vulnerable. We still prefer to run against time. We are still not at home. Still in exile — dominated by our weapon systems. Slaves of a rhythm we don’t want to be part anymore. Our heart is disconnected from time. Threatening each other with nuclear warheads can’t bridge that gap. As long as we go against each other, we cannot win that race. With.
How to be vulnerable and staying connected? How can I share what I have? And how can we work together without overpowering each other? First, we leave our weapons at home. We also speak in words that are not seeking advantage, we listen. We cook together and we do the dishes together. We leave our protective tools in the bunkers of our time.
Can you imagine 13,000 nuclear bombs in your kitchen (a pile of dishes twice as high as the Mt. Everest) — and all the submarines and bombers in your parking lot? I mean, that is what’s going on if you take the perspective of Mother Earth and think of the airspace and the oceans as basically our parking lot. We are cowards, if we show up to her table with all our tools. It’s a weapon free zone — our mind, our heart and our world. Be courageous. With.
Are you interested in being vulnerable?
Being vulnerable means to do dishes together, while we talk. We do our homework together. Each move of our hands teaching us how to be vulnerable. How to be in this unknown space. The unknown that is not a doomsday we prepare for with our mind, heart and weapon systems. Our future is based on sharing and caring. We’ve got the technologies to do both — we have a mind to decide. I made up my mind. I am interested in being vulnerable. Vulnerable is beautiful. I want to see what a world looks like, that is not fueled by the idea of deterrence.
Being vulnerable means awareness and balance. Vulnerable societies know their limits and do not harm themselves — they create structures and decision making processes that are based on the needs of everybody. We give up strength and power to gain balance and wisdom. With wisdom we can create change, with change we can save our world. A wise person also knows the moment to stop — stop winning. The beautiful movie the “The Queen’s Gambit” shows us how, with a lot of humility, we know when the player we play with, has more knowledge and will always have the better answer to our next move. Time to stop (Trailer: 00:10). Watch or join in with Josie, an ukulele teacher, to lay down our might.
There is no planet B. But there are still 13,000 nuclear warheads on planet A — 20 of which in Germany. Are we still trying to win a game? I don’t get it?
Peace is teamwork
We do change together. We should encourage each other every day to believe in our abilities to do change together. Yes. We should get used to it. I can’t do it myself. So can’t you. Don’t forget, we are many. We all take care of different topics at the same time — aware that we are connected and aware of our intention not to harm each other. And we do it. It’s a rich, amazing and beautiful world, and the world is working with us — not against us. With. Mother Nature cares. So do we. Arms Control, for example, we do together. Only together.
Yes we have answers (Source: Capturing Technology. Rethinking Arms Control). Yes we have a treaty to join. The table is set.
Nonviolent: writing our new textbook
How to summarize my thoughts? It's just a drop in the water of time. There is more to learn:
Vulnerability: Leave power behind to become beautiful.
Wisdom: The ability to listen and to learn from all — we know that we don’t know.
Caring: Working together to manage our challenging problems.
Doing dishes together: What we give with all our heart. Sharing. Not hiding and not wanting to hide our knowledge, feelings and thoughts.
Balance: In balance with our eco-system partners (waves, trees, animals, mountains).
Time: Our shared rhythm of peace.

Time
Almost a constant way of being; never in the scope of doing.
Sometimes moments become mountains, and mountains become dreams.
We hear a bird softly touching gras.
As we walk, time walks, in us.

NEWS OF THE MONTH — signals of trust and unity
Sudan announces normalization with Israel: Sudan is the third country to announce normalization and a peace-deal with Israel, after the UAE and Bahrain have done in the weeks before. Sudan and Israel's leaders "agreed to the normalization of relations...and to the end the state of belligerence between their nations," as well as economic and trade ties. (24.10.2020) Also insights by the US ambassador to Israel on ongoing cooperation talks between Israel and UAE. Read also Barak’s (read from 3. Scoop) piece on the Israel-Emirate cooperation to broker normalization with Sudan.
A treaty to ban nuclear weapons will enter into force in 90 days: Honduras is the 50th country to to ratify the Nuclear Weapon Ban Treaty. The treaty prohibits the development, stationing and also the threat to use nuclear weapons. Though nuclear weapons will be considered illegal by international law, Germany and many European countries are not willing to sign this treaty — Sorry, I forgot to mention the nuclear states that boycotted the treaty — apologize for my ignorance. (26.10.2020)
Libya: Talks will start in Tunisia. The UN is organizing a Libyan Political Dialogue Forum starting in Tunisia in November. Peace is not in sight but bringing members of many different parts of society together is already considered a success. Hope works patiently.
After 50 ratifications, the #nuclearban treaty will enter into force. Thank you ican.

Peace Letter October 2020
Dear friends, will we see peace traveling the world, while we all try to do our best to find answers for a pandemic? Will we see signs of hope or rather signs of conflict and suffering? Will we be able to find answers together. To find a new normal of togetherness. For sure, not an easy road to travel on — sometimes skies will be clear, sometimes almost with no sight. Dare we to ask, if we can trust each other every day? And are we able to create waves of solidarity, a logic of unity and exchange that will allow for disarmament, peace and coexistence? Covid-19 silenced our places and cleared our schedules. Who actually is able to silence us? How can we use the crisis to learn together? Homeschooling. Peace, Salam, Shalom.
On Peace 2020 (01)
When is world peace? In 3 months and 9 years. We. Why we? Why not someone else? Why is there just us? I am concerned, that we are going to pass on very serious problems to our children: climate change, armed conflicts, enmity, racism, arms race, injustice, overusing our Mother's natural resources, to only name a few. I am concerned, since we are aware, but we refuse to work hard on solutions. Maybe we are afraid to be human? The weapons of our time are cooperation, exchange and trust, yet we are afraid of using them. Afraid of honest dialogue. Vulnerable moment. Afraid to listen to our words and perspectives. Instead, we do not listen but hide behind enmity and blaming.
We will only solve today's problems with shared action. Together. Problems are more complex, and we get more aware of complexity. We are more aware. It’s great. Now we do our homework. How to create togetherness? With trust. Let it grow. Become trust. Trust is not easy, and for sure for some of us painful, yet possible. We should work with what is possible. We are a source of trust. We can co-create it and make it shiny. Trust needs care and we are the only one who can create it. It’s in us. It’s us. Shining and meaningful trust. Not shiny and life-destroying nuclear warheads — means for a Cold War II world. We have alternatives. It’s in us. With trust we let light into our hearts and minds. With trust we connect to peace in us.
Thinking of our bucket list — today’s problems — I feel a chill. Dealing with climate change, global injustice, rising military budgets, and a pandemic; feeling cold. Our pandemic gives us time, time we haven't asked for. Time, that was not in our calendar. Time to think about what matters. Do we need enemies? Can we support military spending on goods like nuclear weapons, and it’s shiny modernization in the next two decades? For sure not cheap. Why do we think we need it? Do we want to support money spent on military needs? It felt so normal not to question our decisions, now we need to — our future is not a military arsenal. Do we need our airplanes, submarines, launchers and other tools to keep our enemy in check? To deter effectively? Do we need our enemy? Isn't it cheaper to become vulnerable and to focus on our most challenging issues of our time, such as: solidarity, equality, innovation, unity, health, trust and the steps to make peace today? We are connected human beings, our hearts are connected, and we are wonderful and beautiful, every day. The foundations for peace, we can only build together. With our trust. Only together — the rule of trust — and only if we want to. It’s us.
We got forced into homeschooling by the river of time; we are back in the same classroom. Let's learn together. Let’s take care of each other’s learning steps.
Homeschooling with Mother Earth
Dear friends,
Mother Earth has the key to our classroom, she opens the door, sets the starting date and gives us assignments. She‘s a strict teacher, an honest teacher, too. She teaches us with humility and determination. Today’s schedule is tight. Doing my homework, I remember, I sat down, studied, understood, came up with results, wrote them down and got some sort of grade as an immediate feedback. This year we've got very difficult assignments, global assignments. We need to partner. We need to partner in the classroom, each one of us with each one of us. Doing while talking. Together we cannot fail. We cannot ignore somebody and we need to come closer together — but not closer than 1.5 m, aha. Whether we like it or not — that is not the assignment’s question. Our assignment is not to judge or to like or to not like, our assignment is to come together — we are allowed to open the windows to let fresh air in, though. We are one community of human beings on earth — one world, one heart. And we need to take care of our world. Our home.
We feel our Mother's power and Her ability to set the pace. She sets the rules. And she checks if we comply. She allows only for utmost honesty — lying or cheating won’t work. She masters time. We cannot hide behind words or walls to hide or protect. Perceiving a pandemic and climate change connects us to deep fears. Today, we reach out for clear-cut answers, just to touch the unknown. We lack answers and knowledge — confronting us with our own ignorance. It’s scary. We can see how vulnerable we are. Becoming aware of my own ignorance. What is my role, what to do? Sounds like a crisis scenario. It is.
Have you felt vulnerable in the past month?
We are in a crisis. It is a chance. Our days hold so many chances to transform our societies from a logic of power and dominance towards a system of solidarity, justice and healing. One classroom — chatting and sharing wanted — required to solve complex problems. Today we will not be winner or loser, last or first. If we compete we will not get anywhere. “Hey guys I am first!! Wait where are you?” We walk the path together and we arrive together. We do it together. Supporting us. Following the roots of trust. I wonder if it feels like walking backwards?
Mother Earth is healing
A hypothesis. Assuming we are all connected, and assuming we are all going through a period of healing. Mother Earth is healing and we are healing, too. Connected. It must be painful for us to open our inner walls, deep in us. Crossing the streets to forgive. To be confronted with our stereotypes, prejudices; us — them. More assumptions: Healing means to allow trust to grow, to soften our hearts, constantly growing in trust. We gravitate intuitively towards the light that is shining in our heart and expresses togetherness. Light is in us. We need light to grow. By following our light, by being who we are, we become trust. Light follows light. Why is trust powerful? We become soft. Aware. More assumptions. Leaving the path of our trust, by being not honest or hostile to someone, comes with some sort of pain to our heart — an immediate painful physical reaction or pressure we can’t hold for too long — our distrust comes with a feeling, we don't want to feel (anymore), simply because it hurts. Our mind and body are connected. Our body, each cell, tells us to stop doing it. If we want or not — we stop doing it. That is the power of trust. Growing in trust, we stop doing things that harm us — enmity, spitefulness, aversion, ill will, hate. Healing is healing.
Of course, the healing-hypothesis and the trust-power assumptions need empirical evidence. Where in the world can we see collective learning processes that support my hypothesis — support what we do in our classroom? Our pandemic, for example, is pointing towards our most vulnerable inner places — our breath and our heartbeat. It's forcing us to take care of the places most vulnerable in us. And in our society. It's too strong, we can’t ignore. We need to give in by overcoming distrust and hostility, being driven by solidarity (towards our own heart and the hearts and breath of our neighbors). Our neighborhood. She is the teacher. Mother Earth teaches us to learn together, to be aware, to listen, to be peaceful and to heal our soul. And we do it together. Today.
What did you learn in your classroom — is there something you want to share?
We change rooms, music class. Think of an orchestra. A very stubborn orchestra. Terrible sound. We hate to listen and we want to do our thing — loud if possible. Why should we care who is sitting next to us — who is eve sitting there? Why should I care! What instrument are they even playing — why should we care? We want to be heard in this global orchestra. Our conductor needs to be very patient. We are stubborn, She is patient. She is setting the rhythm until we will have learned to listen to each other. She knows we can do it, it's in us — listening, caring, being aware. It's painful to listen to each other's truth. By listening, we learn together.
How do you perceive trust?
We will never be left alone. Our ideas will be heard and shared by friends and people. Our Mother, our Father is supporting us, too. We really do it together. We are all connected as human being. We are life and we are healing, light and love. It's not just an old song. This is what we are. One. One classroom. It's the perfect place and time today to grow by sharing trust. For a world in peace we show our trust and we make it become real. Growing in trust so it becomes louder, a symphony, a song we sing together. Louder? How can trust be loud? We can listen to our own rhythm, and we will hear all of us. Trust in who we are. Trust is beautiful.
Silence at Holy Places
Covid-19 has been characterized by absent places — they where still there but we weren’t: streets, schools, staircases, conference rooms, and holy sites. Places became silent. Maybe the Holy Spirit wanted to walk at these places on its own, silently. Place became space. What did we feel? What do we feel in absence of places and routines? Did silence guide us to our heart, to the holy places in us, our core? Of course it is powerful and also beautiful to go to holy sites, at the same time, we can find divine light everywhere and always in us. Peace is already in us, always has been. A calm and soft storm, holding us where we are, disrupting our rhythms. Reconnecting us to places of love deep in us.
Are we listening to our heart? Listening to all what is: places of sorrow and fear, sites of hope and desire, halls of love, streets of endless loneliness, wide oceans of rolling energy, transforming the world — all in us. Visiting places that can heal our heart and heal time. Witnessing moments that are pure forgiving. Silence. Silence is the absence of noise — it doesn’t mean to be an empty place. We meet, with silence. Growing in awareness, passing ignorance (what? me?). We’ve got a lifetime to take care of this place. A place you know with your heart, a place you feel with your breath. It’s in us. Actually, that’s a huge source of hope.
What holds hope for you?
What comes next? Our days remind me of Moses who goes to Pharaoh asking “let my people go!" ? God knows that Pharaoh can't say yes, even narrows his heart. And God is violent, too. Finally Moses and his people leave, walking for decades, bringing the Thora and the commandments to us. God guides Moses and Moses and his brother Aaron guide their people. Today, no prophet goes to a Pharaoh. Mother Earth and God Father are taking care of the situation themselves. Their goal is not narrowing our heart but softening it. We learn solidarity. It’s not a question whether we want to or not. We have to. Opening our heart is painful. It hurts to enter our holy inner places of forgiving. Peace is painful. Healing time, too.
What are you doing to learn the next step?
Giving up our enemies is not nice. It sucks. At least in the beginning. We are friends now — it is not even a choice. We have knowledge, we have our holy books, we have constitutions, human rights and we have the ability to develop useful technologies: we have everything to become peaceful societies. Let’s live our ideas. Let’s bring it together. Implement it. What are we waiting for?
Peace is Teamwork
Doing world peace is possible; not spoken out as wish for the far future anymore. Today. Now. Us. We all sit at the same table, sharing trust and unity. What are we waiting for? For “the other” to do it, “the other” we can’t trust for millions of reasons, carved in our historical memory over time? This won’t work. We are the best people to do it, there is no “the other”, it’s us! Take a second and look around you. Maybe someone else has also slowed down for a second and is looking. Do you see each other? So we should do it. Why wait? There is no war looming around the next leap of time, unless we want that war. It is us. Will we learn?
A pandemic can be seen as a time to learn quickly. Where have our weapons been to fight real threat in the last months? Silent. He have invested billions over billions into security and here comes a virus and stops the world, clears the sky. Silent. Silences holy places. Silent. Empties our schedules. Stops competition. Silent. Without one bullet. What a power. The winner is … Mother Nature: kindness, caring and solidarity. Without our schedule did we even forget for a moment that we have enemies?
We’ve got time to learn. How many more global crises do we need to learn? We are beautiful, smart, eager to learn and we have a wonderful heart, we are light and love, deeply grounded in justice and forgiving, and sharing. We should make best use of it. Use it. For most of us, there is no desert we need to walk through for the next four decades. God is walking already with us. Doing peace is possible. Our heart is guiding us. We have arrived, we are here on our planet, we can do peace. Trusting each other — regardless of where the fences of space and time have put us. As one united world. Sounds kinda scary to me.
How do you feel imagining a united world?
How should we deal with today’s weapons? In our mind, in our hand. We abuse our mind and our time on earth by asking whom to hate, to distrust and whom to not like? Defined, placed, explained, named. No further questions. Our enemy. Too easy; this can’t be our future. Today in our classroom, we sit together and reach beyond. How can I learn to trust my mind without creating “the other”? And how can I learn to trust your mind as well? How can we trust each other? How? We become vulnerable. We give in to time. Giving up power is difficult. And do we really want to continue to defend our power with weapons — that is too easy, it can’t be our future. Our teacher asks us for more. “Thou shall not kill”, Moses once learned, and it seems it took us way too many years to understand this commandment. We still don't get it.
Our world is our home, how much more rounds of homeschooling do we actually need? Why learning? We did our homework. Really? We still kill, and we even produce and sell weapons to support killing with weapons. Home made weapons, made by us. In our classrooms. We allow and support that behavior. Taught over centuries. Socially accepted. Normal. Do we want that? Where is our dignity? Weapon exports are approved and wanted in our parliaments. Our democracies still need to learn. We should understand that our mind could be a weapon that creates enemies, we refuse to see the human being; and that our societies create weapons, that invite to kill human beings. Becoming targets, objects, numbers. We should become aware and remind us to be aware. Let's work together by laying down our guns and warheads. They even have all that numbers to remember — shiny numbers, numbers to kill: G 8, G 36, B 61-12. Weapons are not numbers, humans are not numbers, our mind is not a number. There is a lot to dust out in our classroom. Wipe the board. Who wants to start? Textbooks inside us need to be rewritten. Study war no more. We know it, we are aware. Not easy, but we can do it. Together, united, global teamwork.
Nonviolent: writing our new textbook
How to summarize my thoughts? It's just a drop in the water of time. There is more to learn:
Together: We walk together on the path of peace. We learn from each other and we listen to each other's needs.
Understanding: We open our heart, we practice forgiveness to us and to people around us — even to those we do not know.
Trusting: We trust our inner compass — the sound of our heart. As community we practice trust, together we grow. We are not alone.
Silence: Silence is guiding us to places of healing within our heart. We discover them together. It's a powerful and emotional experience. The present moment never lies.
Listen: Hostility makes no sense. Weapons, symbols of power and suffering we cannot accept anymore in our country. We listen wisely to the song of our time — we sit in an orchestra.
Non-violence: Our tuning fork, our dancing floor, a conductor's baton to world peace. Can we dance and sing to the song in our heart together? The song of our time, it's already in us.
Best wishes from Berlin, peace in our hearts, peace in our world, Salam, Shalom

Why me?
There is nothing I can do. Nothing I can see. Still, this is me. What happens if I look at you? Do I? How much of what I do is judging, and how much of my view is true?
Am I looking for answers with you or is my view already my answer? Am I truly asking: who are you? Do my eyes talk to your heart and say hello?

Israel-UAE flight takes off in major step for historic pact. The first-ever direct commercial passenger flight from Israel to the United Arab Emirates has taken off, marking a "historic" step in a recent pact to establish ties between the two countries. The Israeli delegation was led by Meir Ben-Shabbat, Israeli's national security adviser. "This morning, the traditional greeting of 'go in peace' takes on a special significance for us," said Ben-Shabbat. (31.8.2020)
Extending the New START nuclear pact will help stabilize US-Russia relations: Last month, U.S. and Russian national security officials met in Vienna for follow-up discussions on nuclear doctrine, transparency and verification. Moscow describes previous talks in July as “professional“, a word you don’t usually hear expressed by the Kremlin. With a COVID-19 pandemic affecting the lives of tens of millions of people worldwide and the global economy suffering its most serious shock in over a decade, the last thing the world needs is a new arms race between two powers that already possess over 90 percent of the global nuclear stockpile. Zum Frieden 2020 (01)
Wann ist Weltfrieden? In 3 Monaten und 9 Jahren. Warum wir? Warum nicht die anderen? Welche anderen?
Direkt in unseren Schädel reingehämmert.
Lernen. Verstehen. Vertrauen. Bitte machen wir Frieden.
An was denkst Du, wenn Du an Heilung denkst?
Moses rennt zum Pharao und sagt: “let my people go!" Nur was?
Was stört Dich am Weltfrieden?
Was denken wir uns eigentlich dabei?
Vernunft: Feindschaft macht keinen Sinn.
Dominikus

NEWS OF THE MONTH — signals of trust and unity
Sudan signs landmark peace deal with rebel alliance: Sudan's transitional government has signed a long-awaited peace agreement with a coalition of armed groups. The deal raises hopes of an end to decades long civil wars — but not all rebel groups are on board. (31.8.2020)
Afghan negotiating team sent to Doha as more Taliban released: The Afghan government said Wednesday it sent a small technical team to Doha, Qatar, to prepare logistics for starting long-delayed peace talks with the Taliban. Although a date for talks has not been set, a negotiating team will follow on Thursday, according to Afghanistan's National Reconciliation Council, the body responsible for managing the peace process.
The new normal. First commercial flight from Israel to the UAE. Shalom Alaikum. Alaikum Shalom.
Oh when will we ever learn?
I was just shocked by the blast in Beirut. Wrote down a few sentences to clear my mind. Why is it needed? When will we ever learn.
A song is traveling the world after a long war. Where have all the flowers gone? Peace we learn between nations, and peace we learn within us.
Hiding a bomb
Hiding the truth is like hiding a bomb. We gamble with the unknown until the truth finds its way out. Or to put it in another frame. If we try to hide the truth under massive walls of power, in the darkness of normality, the truth will eventually find its way out. Truth doesn’t like to be covered up by means of power. It wants to be free. The sad part about it. Our hiding means the suffering of innocent people. Power has no power, when it is not serving people.
Now we see a complete city exploding under a bomb that has the size of 1/11th of the nuclear Hiroshima Bomb.
Beirut is suffering because something that can explode like we have seen is stored in a port. This is so sad.
Why do we see explosions, why we not see peace?
We see mistakes, we see more mistakes and we see mistakes. One after the other. A American President not wearing masks, military leaders in Lebanon still claiming victory in an endless war. What for? Only to be right in a game where no one can be right. In a time when we only can learn from each other. Without creating victims. While people suffer for power full people’s power dreams. Wake up guys.
Clear your minds - while people clear the streets. Get tables out and sit together and talk peace. Not about peace, talk peace. Create trust. Talk peace. Same old song. Learn to trust each other. Open the warehouses and our ammunition depots and clear out the air. Forget about power. It harms our minds.
We will fail in this atmosphere of taking too many risks for mere power reason. God doesn’t like it. We neglect his commandments. And time creates space for mistakes that then lead to terrible consequences. We will suffer.
We have not mentioned yet the risks that our nuclear arsenals hold for us. This are also sleeping bombs — even though there is way more safeguard structure around it. But risks remain risks, and the nature of risks is gambling with time. With our life-time. Our responsibility to take care of our risks. And if that mean that we need to find peace — than this is the logical consequence and the price we pay. We gambled high when creating our bombs. And we can only win if we are ready for the next step. The end of deterrence, transparency and safeguard. Pragmatic Peace. Beyond power driven and egocentric judgments. Peace comes with a price. The price is to leave our hate behind us.
Learning together
At the same time in Abu Dhabi — normalization talks between Israel and the UAE. What is the truth we hear, what is the path we follow? Here we see, that people come together to learn together and to share, what they can do together. People of different nations and of different cultural backgrounds. But shouldn’t it be normal to come together as people of different nations. That should simply be normal. What mindset keeps preventing us from doing so? What can I do to reach out to my neighbors? And how can I talk and think about my neighbors. How do we share being human on earth together?
What kind of doubt hinders us to get together? What kind of shade of time is holding us apart from talking together as human beings? What kind of exchange are we listening to, if we do not react with judgment but curiosity, with modesty and not with power to what we share? How much could grow out of our conversations and exchanges?
Language is something so beautiful. And by being aware of our words we can create a very beautiful exchange and interaction of words — and minds. At the end of our conversation we also heal our mind and let our heart grow in peace.

Dreaming of great peace
A poem, a great song. Our believes are the light on our path.
Sitting down thinking about peace.
An inner force, surrendering. Slow in life, silent in moves.
Surrender.
What is great peace?
Getting restless, breathing without breath. Calming down in thoughts of peace.
Surrender.
Surrender in a believe. Allowing to believe. Growing together; together, watering an old tree.
Believing.
Believing in great peace on our world, in our times. Great peace in us — in our souls in our smile.
I am scarred, yet full of trust. Listening to an old voice. it’s our beautiful soul speaking with us. Listening to needs and wishes.
Free.
Can we dare to think?
Can we hold? Are we ready to believe? Or are you telling us already?
Listening. Listening deeply to our soul.
Our singing soul. Come together.
Hence we walk. We try to talk and we fail, we try again and, not surprisingly, works.
Am I just walking in a dream, a place that allows for any ideas to arise?
Do we want to believe?
An old cat walks by. She has seen generations coming and going. She knows.
She can hear our song.
She smiles.
Slowing down
We enter the times of corona from different places and with different views. A force, stronger than we have expected is teaching us. Is teaching us healing. What ever our expectations are today, what will our expectations look like in a view weeks or month or years?
It comes with time.
Being in the present moment is the logic of our time.
Taking care of health and of people around the world is the task of our time.
Let Mother Earth teach us of how to structure our societies and how to become peaceful societies.
One human nation.
Writing in times of corona
What crossroad are we facing today? Is it even too early to write about it? Can we even find words for what is happening at the moment? May we all stay healthy.
Time has become a new dimension, health too. We try to combine old views with new experiences. We learn and we learn together.
Hypothesis 1: Our Mother is healing.
Is Mother Earth healing at the moment? If Mother Earth is going through a healing process, we as part of Her are also going through a healing process. We do it together.
What could healing mean for all of us?
What does corona mean for peace?
Corona has globally become part of us and our societies. It is more effective than any army in the world. More powerful than any weapon. It attacks our breath and our heart — our core, our center of life. Corona needed only two month to beat our world’s best armies. Congratulations. The winner is… the oscar goes to… the world champion 2020 is: Humanity. Corona allows us to take care of our breath and of our heart. In meditation we observe our breath to heal our heart. Corona’s biggest advantage is time. It’s not that it shows up, we fight it, and it leaves. We go back to normality and things stay the same. Corona comes with time. It is fast and slow. A virus has become part of our society.
Hypothesis 2: Mother teaches us peace
Corona gives us enough time to learn that fighting each other is not an appropriate logic in our times anymore. I think we will understand that in a few years better. We start this crisis with all our expectations — we are who we are, why do we need to change? During the time of transformation we will better understand each other. A multilateral world order, societies supporting each other, individuals taking care of each other, well connected and aware of each other’s health. We will understand who we are and what we need. We cannot blame the other, the other is us.
Again time: Corona comes with time. We have time to go through the full circle of feelings and thoughts. What will be expressed today as hate will turn into love, simply because of time.
Corona, or our mother, is teaching us of how to live together. Corona will not leave us only because we want to. It will stay with us. Hence it is the strongest force we have seen so far, it will teach us to follow its rules. The rules of Mother Earth. Her will. During the crisis Corona reveals what works best in our societies and what is missing something. A lot is working. We will adapt and learn. I am optimistic. What is old and doesn’t work, we will leave behind, because we understood, we don’t need it.
There are risks we cannot fight with weapons. Our societies can only cope with this risk, if we unite and work together. In the long run, humanity will only survive if we unite and work together. Is it that hard to understand? The song of our century? Unity.
What are you more afraid of: unity among human beings or Corona?
As corona is not leaving us, we will be forced to end wars. Eventually every army that is still in the field will be affected by corona — it spreads too fast. Keeping corona immune armies will be difficult. Hence, not going on war is the best option at the moment. It will eventually effect all armies that do not practice social distancing. What does an army will look like that does practice social distancing? Who is the enemy — the one you should shoot because he will threaten your family or the virus that is actually threatening your family? What enemy will leaders and soldiers choose? At the moment uncertainty is high — so not fighting is the best answer around the world. We can go back to fighting after Corona, if we want to.
Please join words for globally silencing weapons. A global ceasefire.
Healing from within
Corona is strong enough to challenge our aggression inside. It will not leave, it comes with time. It is stronger than our hate and stronger than our pain. Stronger than our will. We will get soft in our mind and body with time. It teaches us “not” to hate each other. Corona is time. Time is the best teacher. Any aggression will not make corona leave. It stays. It stays no matter what emotions we have and share — we meet with aggression, corona will be there. We meet with love, corona will be there. Uncertainty will be part of it. We cannot look away. What will we choose eventually. Meeting Corona with love or hate? Being soft, being open to what will come, being slow will be the way of being. At least this year.
Hypothesis 3: Mother gives us time, for free
Mother gives us time. She needs time, too.
Time reminds us to stay healthy, to take care and to be aware. It tells us to be in the present moment and to avoid high expectations and goals. We cannot organize our future anymore, simply by wanting. At the moment the wanting seems not possible. Accepting the moment without aggression is in the long run easier. Corona has time, so do we have now.
What to do with time?
Time we get, uncertainty and a crisis we get, too. This is definitely not an easy time — not financially, emotionally, not for our body and soul. Not for our society. It is an unexpected situation. A challenge. Risk is a threat and a chance. It depends on how we learn from it.
If we all as individuals learn together, we will change our societies. But please learn with a lot of trust — and with the knowledge and feeling, that we all doing it together at the moment — we are one connected human society. With nations, with cities, families and our heart. Our heart beating in the rhythm of our time. Follow your heartbeat, follow your breath. Follow also your needs.
Follow your intuition every day. Feel lonely if you are lonely, feel happy if you are happy. Don’t be afraid if emotional changes are happening faster than usual. It’s special times. A great learning takes place at the moment.
Love will grow. From my experience of working with time and intuition, what is growing every day is love, is compassion, and is trust. Corona gives us time — a gift. We heal while we wait to end this pandemic. We will be healing from inside as individuals and outside as societies. We shouldn’t be afraid.
Our political leaders at the moment are also working (more or less) together — they have been proving that they can do things together. They will not go on war against each other. Changes will happen, I assume they will not result in wars.
Let’s work together every day to change our world . A world for all of us — a life in good health and without wars.
Wait with love my friend
Stay healthy and wait with love my friend, my sister, my brother — also in difficult times. Take good care and be aware of change. Life is change, the universal law of nature.
Words in between
We have entered a new year. 10 years left till reaching the Global Development Goals in 2030. World peace is a goal. Of course. And still, people in power believe they can ignore the wish of our soul. We want peace.
We have entered a new year. 10 years left till reaching the Global Development Goals in 2030. World peace is a goal. Of course. And still, people in power believe they can ignore the wish of our soul. We want peace.
Of course, no one to blame. We care all, all the time. We as human beings become softer, feeling deeper pain, healing pain, too. It is a normal process. Redemption, healing pain of our times. We connect and at the end we follow the path of enlightenment, healing our human soul together. While we walk we change.
This is happening in a world, where Iran and the U.S. is threatening each other using war as a possibility to find solutions. I can’t stand it. We lose time. Both countries are too smart to go on war anyways. We cannot destroy Israel and we cannot unite the muslim world (ummah) by defining an enemy. It’s not wanted. Allah is shaking His head. We need in both capitals to open embassies (US, in Teheran and an Iranian in Washington, D.C.); btw. you open embassies by talking. Two presidents are not able to talk with each other — what are weak behavior. I have no understanding when God or Allah is used as justification. Allah understands, of course, in His/Her mercy but I am not as patient as His endless power is. Furthermore the prophets do not have any patience, left. Their job is to be patient, of course, but, by God, it is such a ridiculous behavior to avoid talking: Jesus knows, Mohammed does, Moses and Abraham and their wives are shaking their heads. Brothers and sisters in power, we wait.
Would a women led government behave with force to signal strength? We need no power, we are already the most beautiful beings on earth, without power, force and strength. Become soft my brothers. Time to relax. Time to be human.
Well, I am annoyed. I can feel peace already becoming reality, while the empirically observable reality is still full of anger and injustice. Please help me to bridge that inner stretch by coming to reason and to become non-violent in our behavior and thoughts. It’s so human, it’s us. Disarm our mind, our hands and our country’s military arsenals.
Mother Earth needs our common understanding. She is the most powerful teacher we have, she does not allow weapons in the classroom, sorry NRA, sorry military leaders. You sit in the classroom, Earth is our classroom. Welcome back to life-long-learning. Cheers.
Let’s walk together. We all. Salaam, Shalom.
The story of June 2019
A story of June:
Iran-U.S. conflict: still time to talk.
U.S.-North-Korea negotiations: when is the third meeting?
Israel: U.S.-Russian-Israel Security Advisor meeting in Jerusalem — Israel’s role in bridging lines.
My heart keeps waiting. Why after 20 centuries of war, after all our prophets and their words, why is war still the answer? My heart refuses to accept war as an answer. What is your heart telling you?
Introduction
I want to continue with the story of writing about our shared process of creating peace in the world. The first part “For the heart” is written for our heart, our soul and our shared consciousness — for the ocean of our thoughts. It will allow our soul to connect. The second part “For the mind” is a story based on real events that are happening during the month of June. Some of what is written is fiction, fiction based on information I receive by media, events or conversations.
With my words I want to allow for both: listening to one story AND seeing the other story, too.
Last but not least. If I know war is coming, I see war coming. If I know peace is coming, I see peace coming.
For the heart
This morning with a friend we talked about how fishes swim through oceans following a rhythm, also going back to their place of birth, a fjord or a river even up in the mountains. What if our shared mind is also an ocean of consciousness and we seek going back to the place of our beginning? Where in the universe would this place be? And who is guiding us on our journey? Where are the places my mind, my soul, and my heart are connected to life — and how can you help me go to this places?
The journey almost feels like going back on time, while still being in the present moment. Connecting.
What’s wrong with admitting our vulnerability as human beings? How am I hiding my weakness behind means of strength? Don’t wee miss to see the beauty of joint decision making processes. Processes that fit the needs of all? I see a lot of beauty in it. Working with the weakness to create change.
Peace comes with a feeling of love. Love comes with a feeling of trust. Trust, here, has no measure, no beginning, no end, it comes without time. What is happening within trust passes my will — the power, I can only follow. A feeling of inability, of being helpless, the feeling of devotion, is absolute. It comes with no reason. Peace is. I can only follow.
For the mind
Middle East
The German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas arrives on June 9 in Teheran. What can he offer to keep Iran holding on the the nuclear deal? Are the tensions between the U.S. and Iran already unbridgeable? While the German Minister is traveling the Middle East, in Jerusalem a trilateral meeting between the National Security Advisors of Israel, Russia and the U.S. is prepared, to be hold this month. I imagine Nikolay Patrushev praying in Russian Holy Trinity Cathedra; imagine John Bolton watching CNN news, while the Muezzin’s voice gathers for prayer in East Jerusalem. Thinking of Meir Ben-Shabbat when driving every day through the streets of Jerusalem. Is Jerusalem preparing to become a city of peace negotiations or will it be a day that passes without meaningful exchange?
End of May, German’s Foreign Minister Heiko Maas boarded an airplane to tour the Middle East. Before going to visit Teheran he stopped in the Emirate Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) to consolidate with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed, On 12. June M.B.Z., as he is called, is visiting Berlin to meet again with the Foreign Minister. What has changed since their last encounter? The most powerful ruler in the Middle East, as the New York Times calls the Crown Prince also meets Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Germany is remembering 15 years of close relationships with the Emirates.
While Merkel talks with Sheikh Bin Zayed, maybe also to share their efforts in mediating between Iran and the U.S., in Israel the former intelligence officer Mickey Segall does not believe in an military confrontation between the U.S. and Iran. From his point of view, both sides want a diplomatic solution. Iran’s Foreign Minister travelled to Oman, a country seen as mediator, while German’s Foreign Minister did his trip. Iran shows it’s muscles while it knows that President Trump doesn’t want to go on war. Iran is maneuvering within its limits. The air would get thin, if President Trump will be reelected in 2020, since the sanctions are painful.
If we know that talking is the solution, why are we going through all the drama of showing strength? Humans are vulnerable beings, no need to hide it. A few days before summer solstice an U.S. drone is shot down over the Persian Gulf. President Trump does not opt for a retaliation strike — simply because the drone was unmanned and a retaliation strike would cost lives.
We move closer to the end of the month. Time has been a guide so far. President Trump speaks of “unlimited time” to come to terms with the Iranian leaders. Maybe he realizes that hawkish voices who offer the option of war based on airstrikes, cannot offer much more of what will come after air strikes. Fascinating to observe how the idea of a war is still seen in some parts of our society as a solution to a problem of our century.
Nuclear disarmament
In June the nuclear world is waiting for time to pass — and for miracles to happen. During breakfast we could ask: Is the world going to see a new arms race?; during coffee break or a cup of tea the question could be: Are tensions building up to lead to comprehensive disarmament agreements? What would you prefer? Two Cold War disarmament treaties between the U.S. and Russian Federation will end: the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty in August 2019, and NewSTART, limiting the amount of strategic nuclear warheads by 1,550 for each country in 2021. While we are waiting, the well known expert, Hans Kristensen reminds U.S. Congress members that the U.S. is currently deploying 1,000 low-yield nuclear warheads. Low yield nuclear weapons as mean of deterrence are wanted by some congress men. They don’t need to be invented, they are already in the world, even in Germany. Is fear the motivation of policy makers and members of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee? How to deal with a political body that shows little knowledge about the subject? Are organizations just managing weapon programs without actually knowing what they give the money for? This is absurd behavior. Why are new weapons an answer to our fears? What is the source of our fear? Low yield nuclear weapons can be deployed more easily and hence, used more easily. This weapon would make a nuclear war more likely. It’s not really a nuke, only 20’000 kilotons, okay we use it!
While we sit down for breakfast in Western capitals, or board airplanes with our foreign ministers, I wonder if the North Korean leadership is open for a next round of nuclear disarmament talks with the U.S. President Trump? How to prepare for potential talks and where to hold them? There were rumors that North Korean’s chief negotiator had been dismissed and sent to prison camp. When preparing the meeting in Vietnam in February, did Mr. Kim Yong-chol really think that Mr. Trump would have signed a deal, only because he needed a diplomatic success story? How can we prepare potential disarmament talks better, now that we know that Mr. Trump’s strategy is: "I'd much rather do it right than do it fast."? If we see a next meeting, I assume both sides will be aware, that the U.S. only accepts a complete denuclearization in return for lifting sanctions as well as, that North Korea is not willing to give up its nuclear program completely. Will we see a next meeting? Who in the negotiation teams is able to bridge that contradiction? What magic power will be needed to denuclearize Korea? Unification is magic.
Why should the U.S. and North Korea stop talking? Why is not talking the answer. It seems that people keep working to make a third meeting happening. President Trump and Chairman Kim exchange letter, and South Korean President Moon Jae-in comment on talks behind the scenes get rejected by North Korea. Peace keeps walking, peace keeps talking. It’s so patient.
Sanctions are also an important factor in the Iran-U.S. conflict. In May, Iranian oil export fell below 500,000 barrel per day, compared to 2.4 million (or 5 times more) a year earlier. The sanctions, the U.S. put in place and enforce are criticized by countries but still accepted by foreign companies from China, India or Turkey. What does it mean for a country to be able to supply the world with a product no one dares to buy anymore? Why are we all creating this conflict together? When I leave my Berlin apartment in the morning, I don’t feel any problems from the sanctions. How is it for my Iranian friend and his or her family? What does it mean for you and for me, for our brothers and sisters around the world, if leaders decide not to talk? The Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as well as Iranian president Hassan Rouhani are not willing to meet with President Trump for talks at the moment. The U.S. sanctions seem to work at the moment, tightening the situation and creating an atmosphere of war. What does it mean for all three of them to be light to the world? Can Iraq or Oman act as a mediator in the region? Can Shi’ite tradition help?
Iranian’s Intelligence Minister Hajat Al-Islam Mahmoud Alavi mentioned on 21 May 2019 that the regime’s leadership needs to show “heroic flexibility”. In 661 CE the second Imam Hasan (624-670) and his rival Caliph Muawiya (602–680) negotiated a treaty to avoid a civil war and Caliph Muawiya became the first Caliph of the Umayyad dynasty (661–750). Today, Alavi points out that back in the days, Imam Hasan Mujtaba, the son of Fatma Zahara and the first Imam Ali, chose to negotiate over fighting, in order to protect the muslim house. As member of the Prophet’s household, peace does not need to come from fighting, as the historic example mentioned by the intelligent minister reflects. The supreme Leader Ali Khamenei sees nuclear bombs prohibited by islamic law. This statement is seen as a signal to negotiate and to take a pragmatic stance on the issue. Hurry up, meet at the table, sit in a circle. Peace is patience.
In the mean time, on June 11th, a hot summer day in Berlin German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas (SPD) prepares to meet his colleagues in Stockholm on June 11th to discuss a Swedish “stepping stone” approach to build up momentum for a successful United Nations NPT conference on nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament May 2020 in New York. Before leaving Berlin Heiko Maas declares that nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation is in a crisis, this crisis is a threat to world peace. Nuclear states, like France argue they follow a step-by-step approach towards disarmament. The problem is: not moving is always the best strategy, if you see a huge river in front of you. It’s just not the right time. Why not offering stepping stones. What if the river only exists as a river of fear in our hearts? Is fear again the answer?
We need to be aware. Our world — our shared humanity — has 15’000 nuclear warheads still in stocks, according to the SIPRI yearbook 2019. If we distribute nuclear warheads evenly around the world, per 500’000 citizens there is one nuclear warhead. In this world, the U.S. has about 700 warheads (actual number: (6’185), Russia 240 (total 2019: 6’500). Today, the global arsenals are undergoing an expensive modernization process. Numbers don’t lie: it is time to reconcile and to make peace agreements.
Also over solstice Chinese President Xi Jinping visits its neighbor country North Korea, meeting Chairman Kim Jong Un and his wife Ri Sol Ju. It’s the first Chinese leader to visit in 14 years. Xi will also meet U.S. President Trump for a small Chinese-U.S.-summit over trade disputes end of June. Will Xi be presenting greetings from Kim to Trump?
Reconciliation — Peace agreements
How did the Ethiopian Prime Minister feel when arriving on June 7th in the Sudanese capital Khartoum? Was he envisioning enduring talks with the Chief of the Transitional Military Council in Sudan that will lead to a more stable atmosphere in the city? The same day in Nairobi, Kenya, the African Council of Religious Leaders release an immediate statement condemning the violent response of military force against peaceful protesters in the streets of Khartoum. Will we see opposition leaders as well as Transitional Military Council’s members meeting in the spirit of good governance and sustainable peace? What are the thoughts of protesters on the street? What is the soldier reflecting upon his live in his country? How do people holding power reflect on the future of their country and region?
When going to a job interview in Karlshorst, Berlin early this month, I walked by the house, where on May 8th 1945 Germany surrendered to the allies, ending World War II in Europe (it’s now a German-Russian-Museum). I could read that all parties involved in World War II did not sign any peace agreements — Germany surrendered — but the war, now as a Cold War continued. Do we need to go back to 1945 again to find a missing peace of our peace puzzle?

Sing, dance and celebrate with your heart
Our love is connecting us. Our connection is creating love. Our love is connecting us. Our connection is creating love. Our path, our faith. Will our soul become one and be peace the sound of our days. Shalom.
Our love is connecting us
Feeling the interconnectedness in our world. We are one entity of human beings. Deeply connected and rooted on Earth. The feeling of love emerges. Is love our combining energy? The light between our souls and hearts? I think so. Love comes with a sound. We feel it, we might not hear it.
Our sound, our love is connecting us. Our connection is creating love. Our love is connecting us. Our connection is creating love. Now you see. Now you can see the future, too. Our love is connecting us.
Our Mother and our Father are holding us with humility and trust, holding our souls. Always have. Be our tree, our flower of life. God is sending us light every day. And we can be.
We can be a friend, a lover, we can be a voice and an ear. And we can share what we own and we can share how we want our world to be. We can share it all.
Be light, be warmth, be love
We might not trust in our steps but we can trust in the next step to come. This will be the walk of time we are all walking today. A song, a dance, a path that is connecting us around the world. The Prophets, women and men, among us. God walking between us. Our soul healing and our hearts smiling. A time-team-walk. Generations walling. A spiritual movement. Without actually knowing it, do we know what we do. Intuition is guiding our individual steps. Together we build a future in peace.
We might not yet understand what we do, it will be shown to us — the symphony of peace — will reveal its sound while we walk. Our love is connecting us. Our connection is creating love. Our path.
We all are born free. Shalom.
Happy Easter, Happy Passover, Chag Sameach.
A song, about our love and our compassionate heart: Our shared friend, our mother our father. Our spirit of truth and beauty.

Schreib Dir mein Freund, meine gütige Freundin, sei Licht.

Gütge Mutter, mein ewiger Gott, Euch lieben.
Euch lieben, mein Leben, in ewigen Kreisen beschrieben.
Zeig Dich uns Gott, ewige Mutter, erbarmen.
Erbarmt unser Herz, weckt sanfte Liebe zusammen.
Zusammen finden, Frieden ergründen, und handeln.
Handeln in Frieden, in Einigkeit verwandeln.

Humorvoller Geist, Du trautes Heim meiner Gebeine.
Kicking off Peace Tent 2020 Berlin (8. April .2020 - 16. April 2020)
We want to connect with the energy of peace. Connecting places and people. We have one year. Come join.
Invitation to join the Peace Tent team
Our goal is to organize an event in Berlin (8. April 2020 - 16. April 2020) encouraging for dialogues that contribute to peace.
From today on, within one year time there will be a Peace Tent. As the tent grows we grow as a team.
What are the questions we will be asking ourself on that path?
What kind of energy do we share while keeping the vision of a Peace Tent in our hearts?
The idea can lead to different results. For example:
Being a platform for cultural exchange among communities of different ethical or religious backgrounds in Berlin. E.g. sharing views, music, poetry, dance; inter-religious exchange.
Facilitating dialogues among citizens of countries who are currently in a state of enmity. E.g. West-East Europe/Russia, Middle East, North-East-Asia, Central Africa.
Being creative in starting an exchange among citizens and civil society groups that can spill over to higher political levels.
A dream would be if political leaders will join us to actually sign peace agreements.
Where comes our motivation from? E.g.:
Feeling responsible to open social spaces for dialogue.
Seeing the need of civil society taking action to contribute to our goal of world peace.
With our bottom up efforts and creativity we can bridge political boundaries.
Within one year time, we can create an unexpected momentum.
Bringing the idea to life
I want to bring this idea to life to share it with you and to invite you to contribute and to joint the team.
I want to invite you to a first meeting on Monday, 22. April 2019 15:00h-18:00h. A second meeting will take place on Wednesday, 1. May 2019, 15:00h-18:00h. Join one or both of the meetings if you are interested in the idea. Both meeting will take place at my place.
Sharing the vision.
Space for ideas and questions.
Mapping different approaches.

Light, our hope
Following light. Singing about the end of wars.
Singing about light — calling it peace.
Light follow our heart. Our heart follows our wish. Our wish is peace in the world. We begin with ending wars. If light is a melody in our hearts, how is its sound?
A song made in 2014, the last verse I found last week here in Berlin. Follow light you will find answers.
Light in so many ways is our source, is the angle we decide to grow towards, is the first morning we awake to.
Light is also a source of wisdom and of God. Light talks, light follows, and light heals, light connects.
Be light, listen with your heart.
Shalom, Salam.

Sing about water
How would you start a song about water? What do you feel when thinking of water?
Why not starting to sing about our ocean. Feels to me as if we are speaking with our Mother Earth, when touching water, when watching a wave.
Here is a song in German: Das Meer.
Lyrics:
Refrain
(A D G A A D G A)
kraftvoll rauscht es an Land;
hört ihr das Meer
die Stille tief in sich gebannt.
Das Meer, das Meer,
trägt in sich des Lebens Keim,
es ruft zu uns her
das Meer, wird ewig sein.
-------------------
Strophen:
(h Fis Fis h :|| Fis G E7 Fis )
Ewige Zeit, [h FIS]
Du sprichst zu uns. [FIS h]
Ewigkeit, [h FIS]
so blau und rund. [FIS h]
Bewegt und starr, dunkel und tief [FIS G]
Ein Wellenkamm, ein Riff. [E7 FIS]
Mystischer Ort, zum Leben bestimmt. [FIS G]
[E7 FIS]
-----------------------------
(h Fis Fis h :|| Fis G E7 Fis )
Lebendigkeit.
Leben für uns an Land gegeben.
Ewigkeit.
Werden wir gemeinsam gehn.
Bist Du noch der Ort der Kraft,
Der für uns das Leben schafft.
Kannst Du uns noch Heimat geben,
Oder werden wir Dich sterben sehen?
----------------------------
Melodie (h Fis Fis h :|| Fis G E7 Fis )
Leid und Tod
Unsere Mutter ist in Seenot.
Füße im Sand
Die ewige Weite hält den Blick gebannt.
(Fis G E7 Fis)
Werden wir die Urzeit stören
Werden wir das Ende hören
Werden wir am Ende fluchen
Werden wir um Hilfe rufen.
(Fis G E7 Fis)
Werden wir die Passage schaffen
Werden wir gemeinsam landen
Werden wir uns zusammenraffen
Werden wir elendig stranden
(Fis G E7 Fis)
Werden wir die Chance nutzen
Werden wir die Ohren uns putzen
Werden wir das Meer leer fischen
Und im Meer Müllberge auftischen
(Fis G E7 Fis)

Tent of Peace. World Peace Forum Berlin 8.4.-16.4.2020
We want to build a Tent of Peace in our days. We organize a World-Peace-Forum in Berlin during Easter and Passover days from April 8th — April 16th 2020. We meet under the Tent of Peace in Berlin. The goal is to invite all national leaders of our world to sign peace agreement. Action is the goal. The Tent of Peace will move on from Berlin. It will go to New York to be set up to host the NPT Review Conference on nuclear disarmament from April 27th till May 22nd.
We give peace a chance.
We do it together.
Shalom.
Tent of Peace in Berlin
Who wants to join and build the Tent of Peace in Berlin? We need masters to gather to craft peace in our world, today. Craftswomen and men — join, build on our Tent of Peace.
We will meet under the Tent of Peace — a World Peace Forum assembling all global efforts to create peace.
Come to Berlin.
Who wants to partner?

Where we meet. Jerusalem, Israel, 2015.
A conference to sign peace agreements.
This morning I had the idea of us organizing a World Peace Forum in Berlin in about one year time. The idea is to bring all leaders together, to negotiate and sign peace agreements. This will be a place where states who are enemies can declare peace. For example: Israel with Iran and Lebanon. Iran with the U.S., the U.S. with North-Korea. North Korea with South Korea. Japan with Russia, Russia with Ukraine and Georgia, Germany with Russia. Pakistan and India will declare the end of enmity. Peace, reconciliation and love. We are building patterns of trust.
Why Berlin?
We come together in a Tent of Peace, in Berlin Germany. Berlin has become a city of peace. 20 years after the peaceful unification of East and West Germany and the formal end of the Cold War — a war also in our hearts. It made our hearts hard. We can become friends. Berlin is the place where all nations and all faith and cultures can come together.
We, people in Berlin, can provide the spirit of peace. It’s who we are. Germany can show the world, how we are taking responsibility to create peace, We can also give back to the world the peace and reconciliation we received and learned after World War II. Thank you world.
Berlin will host the Peace of Tent next year. From there it can move on to other places in the world.
At night. Tel Aviv/Jaffa, Israel 2015
Why Pesach/Easter?
Our Tent of Peace will move. On 27.4.2020 till 22.5.2020 in New York we will have an UN nuclear disarmament conference called Treaty of the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) Review Conference, an event that takes place every five years. Building up a focus to that event is what we do. It is a huge change. With previous peace agreements in place — done here in Berlin — all nine nuclear powers could join (including Israel, North Korea, Pakistan and India) and decide about the process of complete denuclearization and verification of nuclear weapon states. In New York on May 22nd 2020.
The Tent of Peace moves on. It will eventually come to Jerusalem.
In 2020, again the holy Christian Easter and Jewish Pesach/Pesah/Passover festival will take place. I assume the time and the atmosphere would be in favor to support our path for peace in the world. The mood would be in a good and powerful place.
Maybe, together with the moon, the Tent of Peace will take a few rounds around the world before coming to Jerusalem.
What is the goal?
World Peace is the goal. The Tent of Peace will walk around the world to then settle in Jerusalem to become the Temple. How does it sound to your heart. Do you feel happiness? #projectMessiah talks about it.
We give peace a change.
We give peace a chance.
Peace walks the direct way. Washington D.C., USA, August 2014.
Earth Element
When we are angry, we are angry and our heart changes its sound.
When we trust we trust and our Mother is listening to us.
Has trust become the language of our time?
Our planet
Have we said good morning to our Mother? Did we get up, ready to work, ready to do our expected expectations? Did we say good morning?
Good morning.
The place we sleep, the place we walk
Our Mother awakes within us. She gives us the ground to walk on, the place to sleep. Is our home a place of peace?
Big Sur, USA, 2012.
What if we ignore our needs and extend them to the point where we forget who we are? Do our expectation match also who we feel we are? Not everything we expect to be is needed. On the other hand, a lot is needed to be done. We cannot blame us nor the mother, nor our child. Whom to blame?
Do you also observe your mind? Do you observe how we judge each other and when? Do you see how we are looking intuitively for someone to blame or someone to like?
What if there is a world without actually reason to blame someone? Is this fair?
Whom to blame?
My advise — blame God. His heart is the softest in the universe and since He is the center — blame Him. Send it with light speed and be aware of His answers.
Where we meet
God understands that we sometimes only have certain ways to communicate. He doesn’t care about our intention. He listens to our heart. Directly. If we shout, if we cry, if we smile if we talk, if we blame or shame or love or trust — He can hear us. And He understands that deep in our heart we only speak in our own song — connected directly to our shared song.
Send it out with light speed and don’t worry. All He asks is to learn. All He is doing is learning. Don’t wait, His answers are already waiting for us, as if He knows what we are saying. Of course, He is walking next to us. He is on Earth. He is with our Mother. Would be a wonderful love story, if that is possible on Earth. I don’t know.
One thought about language. Anger is anger and comes with a sound of anger. Love is love and comes with a sound of love. Joy is joy and also comes with a sound of joy. The quality and the source of the information is the same. Our reaction differs. And it is not on us to blame anyone for it. We would do it better if we could. We just don’t know.
Home. 2011.
Even if we find an enlightened person today, in a few generations the language we are using today would be in many ways frustrating. Read the Bible, the Tora, read the Koran, how do you judge the words — they sound not appropriate to me in so many ways. All the fighting and hate, I leadership of women — what the fuck. It was the language that at that time was progressive and needed to soften our hearts. The source is the same, the sound has changed. The intension to build trust, to soften our hearts has always be the same. I assume nothing has changed much. Word have changed. Yea, words. The source the same, the goal the same. To unify in a specific way to make world peace — women and men, all nations. I guess there is more. Peace, right now, here on Earth, is good enough to focus on. Planet Health is of course more complex.
A planet of trust
I figures out that the sound of trust is a sound from which we can learn very quickly and access the source of our heart very easily. It’s a progressive wave of sound. We create space. It’s a place where our heart can relax and God’s helping hand can enter the place.
Too much logic, not enough trust. UK, 2011.
Trust comes from our heart.
Trust is a sound of our time. A sound of our Mother. It’s the logic of nature. Isn’t it also who God is?
Shalom.
The year 2018. 2019 ahead.
Time to look back and to look ahead. A summary of thoughts of the year 2018 and reflecting what will be relevant to do in 2019 and the years ahead.
My new year begins with the question: what is a better answers than anger? How can I truly listen to someone's needs and opinions even if I feel somebody's unfiltered pain or anger? I cannot react with anger, I need all energy to look ahead. Climate change is not a joke. We are not doing our homework. Why do we pretend to be busy? Mother nature is the superpower on earth — not Europe, China, the U.S. or Russia — she expects us to be aware, united and in harmony. Pointing nuclear warheads against each other or to dream of other means of effective deterrence is ridiculous. I want to speak out to the leaders of the world: listen to each other, build trust, stay together to find answers. 200 people, we can organize it. It's the 21st century. Let's do it.
Jerusalem. Israel. August 2018
Every year I write a letter to friends in German and in English, looking back on the old and looking ahead to the new. Please find the German version below the English one.
Hier geht’s zur Deutschen Version.
The year 2018
Words of love. Come with care and leave with peace. Be with me as light is in every day.
My year 2018 was fulfilled with love, forgiveness, respect, dignity and hope. In 2019 I want to listen truly to you and speak with clear voice.
I wish to see more efforts among leaders to refuse to hate. What can we learn from our German chancellor Angela Merkel who said on her last speech as party leader in Hamburg on December 7th 2018: “I have deprived you from some really hearty and scathing attacks on our political opponents from the left and the right. I preferred to choose foil fencing [Florett] or I preferred to stay silent and not to jump over the stick somebody held up in front of me. I am fully aware I have put your nerves extremely to the test.” Preferring unity over the forces of separation.
Words of anger
We can become leaders of change, too. With family and friends we can stop our words that keep the ideologies of enmity, distrust, war and superiority alive. We have walked the path of long and enduring wars and discrimination — we have walked it together in previous generations. And we have learned. Peace is more patient than war, forgiveness stronger than hate. We will become masters of a global transformation. Exactly, all of us. There is no substitutes' bench — it’s a team time trail. Doing trust.
Berlin, Germany. May 2018. Peace train — team time trail
In the 20th century national states have not done their homework. There are still officially states of war between national states or unsettled boarder conflicts around the world. We take it for grated, as if time does not matter. To settle a name dispute between Montenegro and Greece took more than 10 years. Why? The U.S. has no official diplomatic relationship with Iran — letters are sent via the Swiss embassy in Teheran or the Pakistani embassy in Washington, DC. Why are we still dealing with unfinished homework? To build a house of global unity we need strong foundations. We cannot start building our house, if we have not walls of trust and peace. How much time do we need? One generation, two, three? How much time do we have? Not much.
Following Jean Monnet — creating unity and institutions
How to contribute to needed change? In 2019 I want to start organizing an action forum to make an UN conference on nuclear disarmament (the NPT Review Conference in May 2020) become a success. The forum is designed to establish trust among actors of our nine nuclear states — U.S., China, Russian Federation, France, UK, Israel, India, Pakistan, and North Korea. A successful conference will be possible if Israel agrees to verify its nuclear program. I will try hard to make it happen. Why should Israel take the risk to end its concept of ambiguous nuclear deterrence? My quick answer is: God wants it. He wants peace among all religious groups and people in the Middle East. It's time. Israel is the strongest nation in the region, the strongest has the responsibility to act.
Jerusalem, Israel. August 2018
The paradigm of nuclear deterrence as a cornerstone of global order and strategic stability has done its duty. It can retire now — after 70 years the paradigm has reached its age. The existing global order does not allow for peace. Threatening each other of total destruction, needs heavily armed national entities. To legitimate our needs, we keep the narrative of enemy states constantly alive. We create the idea of war again and again. How boring. To believe that peace, achieved by a constant threat of destruction, is peace accepted by God goes astray. He knows and we know that he knows. Nonviolence means the absence of hate in our hearts. Political leadership in the 21st century should stick to that rule — the absence of hate in our hearts.
Time does not stop to pass, so do not sea levels stop to rise.
Global problems need global structures. The consequences of climate change with extreme weather conditions around the equator and rising sea levels will most likely result in massive migration and to shortages of goods in regions. It is possible that hundreds of million of people need to leave their homes — days and nights over 40 degree Celsius is too hot for our body; how many million people live on shorelines? For these problems we need extremely well functioning and communicating institutions that can act with their own sovereignty beyond national interests. I started to read Jean Monnet's biography again. Jean Monnet basically build the European Union. He had the power to unify. What we need is unification. A world of global citizens. A world society.
God's wish for peace and open doors in Hebron
In August I went to visit Israel and Palestine again. Days in the Galilee, in silence. Jerusalem in the summer sun, my 40th birthday in Nazareth. God's patience is immense, his offer for peace is without limits. At the end, what is needed in the region is an unprecedented degree of trust, dignity and respect for all people. Would it be helpful to move the German embassy to Jerusalem and to declare Jerusalem the capital of Israel? Why not doing this bold step? We can explain our steps to all, to Palestinians and neighboring countries. Jerusalem is the capital, nothing else makes sense in the long run. Fight and hate will not change the reality. The holy city Hebron is separated to a degree hard to accept. This place calls for open doors, unity and dialogue among all. I would love to go back to pray there again, in one house. Praying to God in unity.
Jerusalem, Israel. August 2018.
To fight for the truth is part of Jewish and Israeli identity. I think I have understood that the Jewish nation lives in constant self-criticism. I am impressed to see how busy Prime Minister Netanyahu (who also is the Foreign Minister) has been traveling to Muslim countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia to open dialog and cooperation. I respect his responsibility and efforts a lot. I wish I could encourage him to also speak up to the U.S. President and his Vice-President to remind them that climate change is real. Responsibility for the world does not come with compromises — Prime Minister, please act in full responsibility.
Our world can do it. We do!
While I write to you, the earth moves with 7.6 billion people, organized in about 200 nations through time and space. 7.6 billion people is an abundance of productivity and creativity. Changes that had taken generations to implement can now be done by one generation. We are already a world community. Now we can also become one in our hearts. We can create a social order that is not based on the idea of military deterrence and threat. Trying to have peace with deterrence is like trying to do an intercontinental flight with open windows — we will be all sucking on our oxygen masks to compensate for pressure changes. All we would do is to hear our own breath and heartbeats. What is needed are institutions who are designed to solve collective problems in the interest of all. The process of peace means healing our souls from thoughts of enmity, distrust and separation.
One word on war: War is only easy because we know how to do it and because we have institutions which know how to do it. We have gained lots of experience in doing so. Many hours and centuries of hard labour. War is work. Peace is work. What do you want?
Geneva, Switzerland. May 2018. Women’s voices matter.
Build a wall. A wall of signatures.
Our world is steps away from an ecological collapse. We only have this one place. We cannot conquer a new one — only in our minds. That's why in 2019 the homework for our national leaders is to make peace among each other and to develop peaceful diplomatic exchange among all. All. I wouldn't mind if every single state signs a peace agreement with every other state — a total of about 20'000 signatures. A wall of signatures, holding tomorrow's world order of trust. In fall 2019, during the UN General Assembly, when leaders come to speak — some leaders talk for 45 minutes — we could sign. In 45 minutes you could sign peace agreements with 1/4 of the world (2 billion people). The cool part is: the first country signs with 199 others, the second only with 198 and the third with only 197 other countries and so on. The last one will be signing peace with the total world with one signature (7.7 billion people in one minute — how cool). Team time trail. It's an illusion, of course. But the need for peace is real.
Getting our homework done, overcoming enmity. One generation. World peace till 2030 — 11 month and 10 years. Let's work.
Love and trust grows between continents
My private life took place mostly between Europe and Japan. Most of the time I was engaged in Berlin. I remember many good conversations with friends and new people I met — not always sharing the same opinion but always finding a level of exchange and of shared interest. I am very grateful for all this moments. Love was very strong. I hope to see my house open for all our views and as a place of exchange.
Hiradani, Japan. January 2019.
In May 2018 I joined a delegation of civil society activist to attend an UN nuclear disarmament conference in Geneva. In 2019 my energy will go into the topic of nuclear disarmament and within this context the question of whether Israel will open its nuclear program for verification till May 2020. Many will say it will never happen. I believe in the power of our times. We don't have the time to beat about the bush and to spoil things up. He knows, and we know that he knows. Our earth will spoil and will beat us because of our dishonesty and distrust. Courage comes from inner sincerity and from deepest belief in peace to preserve our earth. Building a tent of peace over Jerusalem means also for me to take responsibility for all human beings.
I am so very grateful for all support I received in 2018. Thank you very much. I gained a lot from your critique, your acceptance and your support to encourage me on the path of peace — Shalom, Salam, Frieden.
I wish you a honest and trustful, a healthy and peaceful year 2019,
Dominikus
Durch’s Jahr 2018
Worte in Liebe.
Jerusalem, Israel. August 2018. Public art in a shopping area.
Was könnte Deutschland tun? Anerkennung geben.
Berlin, Germany. August 2018. After days of darkness, united.
It's time.
Und wir können es und tun es. Friedenmachen.
Geneva, Switzerland. May 2018. Notes on a panel on female participation.
Kaminaka, Japan. January 2019. Fascinated by the walls.
Dominikus

To the leaders: Come together.
The message is: come together and unite.
Thank you.
Be courageous as lions and be bold in your joint actions.
…
I am talking to you as a leader of our world. Be a team of leaders. What we need is unity.
Words for leaders on earth.
The message is: come together and unite.
Thank you.
Be courageous as lions and be bold in your joint actions.
We the people need you, your words, your wise decisions.
Playground Jerusalem, Israel. August 2018.
Why is he talking about playgrounds — is this true?
I want to start with an example: We are willing to build playgrounds and schools for our children all over the world, but we are actually destroying their future on our planet. Unlimited use of resources is taking us to the point of serious problems for our generation and future generations at any part of the world. We know it. We know it, we deny it and we do not act. National states are not capable of coming to mutual binding agreements and are not creating effective institutions to govern the problem. Companies are following a logic of market rationality and profit, that is not matching futures needs.
Leaders of the world. We rely on your courage and wisdom. Use the power of your mind. Use words of outmost honesty to speak with the most powerful words we have on earth. Honesty is the gate to our shared truth and the source of healing. Honesty is the gate to listen to each other without the pain of the past. Honesty allows a leader to access its true will.
Practice truth. Washington D.C., USA. August 2016.
Should we really learn a new instrument — honestly?
To the leaders of our world. Please, speak with a language we are able to understand around the world. Find our sound. The sound we all can listen to, everywhere.
Use your power to unite powerful people and people in power. Be a true leader. Be a moral authority. Unite with only what is in you. Unite your power. Become one voice.
Finding sounds. Music shop in Nazareth, Israel. April 2017.
Be a leader. Be yourself. Never lie to me when I am listening to you. Please be honest to me. Speak with the same language to everyone. Say what you do and do what you say.
Be a source of mutual wisdom.
Uniting as a team — is this wise? It can’t wait?
Become a team and become one voice of wisdom.
Do you want to share your wisdom? I am listening. The world is listening to you. You are a leader.
I am talking to you as a leader of our world. Be a team of leaders. What we need is unity.
Window shopping in Vienna, Austria. May 2017.
Exclusively patient
I am sitting here with you, under the tree. We are listening to your story and wait for the end of your story.
Can we see peace as a process of immense and endless patience? Without expectations patient. From a statistical point of view peace is either biased nor unbiased -- it is a process without expectation. It is already there, in us, and it is our will to reveal it.
Peace as teacher

Peace teaches you about time. Peace is a master of time. It comes back to us, again and again. Peace can wait and peace will knock on our door again, asking to come in. Asking to help to build a house of peace for future generations. Are we really listening?

Peace and friendship
Peace teaches us about friendship. When President of the United States Donald Trump cancelled in a letter his meeting with the North Korean leader, Chairman Kim Jong Un on 24. May 2018, the two Korean leaders, South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong Un met shortly afterwards. The way both leaders met is new. Hence, Moon concludes that we "easily got in contact, easily made an appointment and easily met to discuss urgent matters, without complicated procedures and formalities, just like a casual meeting." How is this related to friendship? People who respect each other always keep a door open to talk, are ready to meet and ready to go the short way. President Trump says in his letter to Kim Jong Un: "I felt a wonderful dialogue was building up between you and me, and ultimately it is only that dialogue that matters. Some day, I look very much forwards to meeting you." Some day can be today, tomorrow or in the infinite future. The energy of peace and dialogue is a master of time.
Botanic Garden, Geneva, Switzerland, May 2018.
Peace walks the short way
Peace can walk very slowly. It prefers to walk the short way. It is about 20 kilometers between Ramallah and Jerusalem, Google maps says it is a 45 minute drive today. No matter how many walls have been build up in our hearts and between our neighborhoods, peace walks with you and you can cross them all. In our hearts there is always a place to meet. There is always a space of freedom, esteem and dignity.
Maybe we should stop asking to meet at a table. Is God traveling with a table? Meet me under a tree. Meet me where the light is shining. Let peace be with us, when we talk.
I was listening to a Russian diplomat in Geneva earlier this month. His voice was of concern and he raised the question -- while looking out of the window, the view passing a park, a city, a lake, distant mountains -- why do we hesitate to talk? Nature shows us how we can do it! he was saying.
Unbiased patient
Our shared roots. Our shared spirit. True leadership walks a direct path. Sharing the will of respect and dignity you can listen and speak. When we are walking the path of peace, peace is guiding our steps and teaches us patience and listening to the sound of our time.
